Traditionally made from olive oil, olive paste and potash, Beldi Soap is a dark coloured gel soap, also called Savon Noir. Beldi soap is an integral part of the Moroccan Hammam – a time-honoured bathing ritual that has been practiced for centuries. Traditionally, both women and men visit the public baths and apply the soft soap to their wet skin and then exfoliate using a Kessa glove in the moist air of the bathhouse. This process prepares the skin for exfoliation, causing the dead skin cells to fall away easily without irritation or abrasion, leaving the skin smooth, soft and super clean.
Argan Life’s Moroccan Beldi Soap is made with Argan Oil and Olive Oil. It is a cream coloured soap (no olive paste) and gentle enough to use on the most sensitive skin types. Moroccan Beldi Soap is best used twice a week with the Kessa Glove to achieve super soft skin.
